Director of Secondary Education
Brandi grew up in Los Angeles County in California, and recently graduated from Lesley University with a Master's Degree in Education. Brandi first started working with an out-of-school time program in college. She enjoys working in the out-of-school time program because it is a developing field that allows for a lot of flexibility in effectively supporting what students are learning in the classroom. Her most recent job was with Citizen Schools, a national out-of-school time program for middle school students. In her position, she worked as a liaison between students, teachers, and parents to help students achieve academic success. Brandi is looking forward to continuing impacting student academic achievement as the Secondary Education Director at Horton's Kids. Brandi is new to DC, and is excited to learn about the city.
