Horton's Kids invites professionals who want a real way to make a real difference to volunteer with us. We provide substantive volunteer experience for adults looking to tutor and mentor local youth. Volunteers join a social network of like-minded individuals coming together to make something happen. Our tutor/mentors quickly discover how their time and energy can impact a child's life.
We are looking for high-energy individuals to contribute their time and skills to the children through a variety of opportunities, including:
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities with varying time commitments to accommodate almost any schedule. Volunteers have the chance to meet new people, develop skills, and, most importantly, improve the lives of needy DC children.
