Volunteering

Horton’s Kids offers many different opportunities for volunteers to work directly with the children we serve or to help with the behind the scenes aspects of our programs. No matter what your schedule or expertise is, there are a variety of ways that you can truly make a difference in the life of a child. No prior experience is necessary, but all volunteers must undergo a standard FBI background check for the protection of the children.

Volunteer Opportunities

With Horton’s Kids’ flexible schedule, you can participate in one or more of our programs. Learn more about how you can:

Horton’s Kids works with more than 500 volunteers to provide the services that the children need and deserve. In addition to helping the children, volunteers also join a network of like-minded individuals from around the DC-area.
