Development Assistant

The Development Assistant will play an essential role in Horton’s Kids’ impact by supporting all aspects of our development and communications efforts. Horton’s Kids has aggressive growth targets so that it can increase its impact in the lives of some of DC’s most at-risk children. The Development Assistant will play a key role in the success of foundation fundraising, donor relations, and two key events: Home Runs for Horton’s Kids and Give Thanks & Give Back. A member of a highly collaborative and supportive team, this is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in the field of nonprofit fundraising while making a real difference for some of DC’s most at-risk children.
