Home Runs for Horton’s Kids 2016

The eighth annual Home Runs for Horton’s Kids at Nationals Park took place on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. As in past years, the family-friendly event offered batting practice at the home plate, access to the infield, Nationals mascots, and more. All proceeds supported Horton’s Kids, a nonprofit serving more than 500 children in one of the most at-risk communities in Washington, DC’s Ward 8. Horton’s Kids provides a holistic, research-based continuum of academic, enrichment, and basic needs supports designed to empower children to succeed.
