Our Programs

Horton’s Kids believes circumstance should not dictate a child’s future, and that every child should graduate from high school ready to succeed in college, career, and life. To that end, we provide a holistic, research-based continuum of academic, youth development, and basic needs supports designed to empower children and their families to succeed.

Academics

Horton’s Kids seeks to close the academic gap for each child by providing one-on-one tutoring, literacy intervention, homework help, and educational advocacy.

Youth Development

Our programs give children the chance to broaden their horizons, find new interests, and explore their strengths. The activities also often give many children the chance to enjoy childhood.

Health & Wellness

Horton’s Kids provides food, clothing, personal hygiene products, and other items that children need to grow and be healthy.

Family Engagement

Horton’s Kids partners closely with parents to promote their children’s progress, while providing families with essential resources that reduce stress and promote stability.
